pomeroy markersThe William G. Pomeroy Foundation has begun accepting 2018 applications for fully funded Historic Roadside Markers to commemorate history in several New York counties .

Historical Societies, Museums Professional Development Grants Available

The William G. Pomeroy Foundation is offering grants to Historical Societies and Historical Museums in NYS with annual budgets of $50,000 or less to attend the Museum Association of New York’s (MANY) annual conference being held April 8 – 10, 2018 in Rochester.

Marker Dedicated to Commemorate Historic March

IMG_1002On Monday, a small group gathered for the dedication of a historic marker commemorating the march of Lieutenant Colonel Friedrich Baum to the Battle of Bennington in 1777.
