A tour of historic Rome and Westernville has been set for Sunday, July 29th from noon to 5 pm, as part of the Rome Historical Society’s Tour of Homes community celebration.
Eight noteworthy properties and their unique histories will be showcased during Honor America Days weekend. This year’s Tour of Homes includes both residential and commercial buildings, ranging from an 1856 former church to a newly-built historic home reproduction, to the 1894 mansion of a significant Rome leader.
