Suffrage Centennial: Erie Canal VoteTilla Launches

votetillaVoteTilla set out from Seneca Falls on July 17 at 10 am, traveling the Erie Canal towards its first landing at Clyde, NY at 3:45 pm.

VoteTilla Flotilla To Mark Suffrage Centennial

Susan B Anthony House LogoThe National Susan B. Anthony Museum & House has received a $75,000 grant for VoteTilla, a week-long navigational celebration which will take place along the Erie Canal from July 16-22, 2017.

Erie Canal Flotilla to Mark Suffrage Centennial

susan b anthony museumThe National Susan B Anthony Museum & House has begun plans to commemorate the centennial of woman suffrage in New York State in 2017.

VoteTilla – a weeklong navigational celebration – will take place along the Erie Canal from July 16 – 22, 2017. A core group of canal boats will set out from Seneca Falls and travel to Rochester, with a concluding celebration at the Anthony Museum on Madison Street.
