saratoga springs preservation foundationThe Saratoga Springs Preservation Foundation (SSPF) will award 17 community members and groups Preservation Recognition Awards as part of their Annual Meeting on Wednesday, September 13, from 5 until 7 pm in the Music Hall at City Hall, 474 Broadway in Saratoga Springs.

Skidmore College’s First Home at 82 Circular Street, Saratoga

46 Circular Street Saratoga Springs first home of Skidmore College (courtesy Saratoga Springs Preservation Foundation)In 1903, Lucy Scribner purchased 82 Circular Street in Saratoga Springs to establish the Young Women’s Industrial Club of Saratoga that became Skidmore College.
