The Adirondack Park Agency (APA) and the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) are holding a joint public comment period to solicit comments for the Sharp Bridge Public Campground and Day Use Area Draft Unit Management Plan (UMP).

The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) and Essex County are launching a new shuttle route to help manage safe, sustainable visitation to backcountry destinations in the Adirondack High Peaks.

The Regional Office of Sustainable Tourism and the communities of Minerva, Newcomb, North Hudson, and Schroon Lake have announced the creation of a new brand and website to promote tourism in the southeastern Adirondacks.
