Archaeology Camp at the Ten Broeck Mansion

The Albany County Historical Association has announced a week of Archaeology Camp at the Ten Broeck Mansion. Led by a professional archaeologist from Hartgen Archaeological Associates, campers will conduct a dig on the grounds of the Ten Broeck Mansion, built in 1798 for Brigadier General Abraham Ten Broeck and his family. Easter Egg Hunt in the Garden at Ten Broeck Mansion

The Albany County Historical Association (ACHA) has announced an Easter Egg Hunt in the Garden of the Ten Broeck Mansion has been set for April 13th, at 11 am.

Plaster, Lath Project Completed at Ten Broeck Mansion

northeast room before repairsThe Albany County Historical Association recently completed a project repairing and restoring plaster and lath in the Ten Broeck Mansion, the historic home built in 1798 for Brigadier General Abraham Ten Broeck and his wife, Elizabeth Van Rensselaer Ten Broeck.

Ten Broeck Mansion Undergoing Restoration Work

Albany Co Historical Honoring Norman Rice at Gala

The fundraiser, which will include a cocktail hour, dinner, and silent auction, also serves as a celebration of history education and preservation in Albany.

Art in the Garden Kids Event at Albany’s Ten Broeck Mansion

‘Taste of History’ Exhibit at Ten Broeck Mansion

The Albany County Historical Association (ACHA) and Ten Broeck Mansion have announced the opening of a new exhibit, “Taste of History.”

An opening reception will be held on June 15th from 5 to 7 pm. Explore Albany’s culinary past and present in this journey though food, from the earliest Dutch settlers to modern-day food culture.
