All New York State middle and high school students are eligible to enter. The winner will receive a $1,000 prize from AdkAction, and have their PSA showcased on television and at the Beyond the Peaks Student Film Festival on Friday, June 4th, 2021. Local Governments Urge Governor Cuomo to Sign Road Salt Bill

Salt truck on bridge provided by AdkActionLocal Government leaders are calling on Gov. Andrew Cuomo to sign into law a bi-partisan bill that would establish an Adirondack Road Salt Reduction Task Force and Pilot Program.

The Randy Preston Road Salt Reduction Act (S.8663a/ A.8767a) passed the NYS Assembly unanimously and received broad bipartisan support in the NYS Senate earlier this year. Hub on the Hill Delivery Food Program Expanding

Hub on the Hill truck provided by Jen ZahorchakWith support from the Johnson & Johnson Foundation and the Saranac Lake Rotary Foundation, the Hub on the Hill has launched a fundraising campaign for new vehicles to deliver emergency food packages & local food from the Canadian Border to NYC.
