Preservation Grantees Announced; New Funding Available

Preservation league of nys logoThe Preservation League of New York State and their program partners at the New York State Council on the Arts, Robert David Lion Gardiner Foundation, and Hudson River Valley National Heritage Area have announced the recipients of their 2021 Technical Assistance Grants. During this grant cycle, 17 projects representing 14 counties across the state have been selected by an independent panel of preservation professionals. A total of $62,953 was awarded. Preservation League Announces Grant Awardees

Erie County Springville Center for the ArtsThe Preservation League of New York State and their program partners at the New York State Council on the Arts and the Hudson River Valley National Heritage Area have announced the recipients of their 2019 Technical Assistance Grants.

Historic Huguenot St Planning 2020 Womens Rights Events

Historic Huguenot Street

Historic Huguenot Street (HHS) has been awarded a $20,000 New York State Council on the Arts (NYSCA) Implementation Grant for FY2020. NYSCA grants support the performing, literary, visual and media arts in New York State.

The grant is expected to be used to educational programs related to women’s rights and history. This includes lectures, a book club, partnerships, a new school program, exhibits, and an immersive theater experience. The programs are expected to be implemented in 2020 in honor of the national centennial of many women being allowed to vote in the United States. NYS Council on the Arts Awards MANY $46,000

many logoThe Museum Association of New York (MANY) has announced that it has been awarded two grants totaling $46,000 from the New York State Council on the Arts (NYSCA) for FY2020 with the support of Governor Andrew M. Cuomo and the New York State Legislature. NYSCA grants support the transformative impact of the performing, literary, visual and media arts in New York State.

The Museum Association of New York is one of 462 arts organizations across New York State receiving a total of $8,383,993 million in grants through NYSCA’s Round II FY2020 funding to support arts programs that drive New York State’s economic growth and community health. 2018 Material Culture Conservation Grants Available

ghhn conservation treatment grant programThe Greater Hudson Heritage Network has announced it has been awarded five years of funding from the New York State Council on the Arts (NYSCA) for the continuation of the NYSCA/GHHN Conservation Treatment Grant Program.

GHHN has managed the NYSCA/GHHN Conservation Treatment Grant Program since 2000 and has regranted approximately $2.3 million on behalf of NYSCA to eligible organizations around New York State.
