America 250 Patriots Marker Dedicated at Fort Ti
Commemorations for the 250th anniversary of the American War for Independence are underway at Fort Ticonderoga. The museum has started developing plans and exploring partnerships at the state and national levels to mark this historic anniversary.

Fort Ticonderoga Immersive Homeschool Day Sept 10th
Fort Ticonderoga will host Homeschool Day for homeschool students and their parents on Friday, September 10th, from 9:30 am to 5 pm. Fort Ticonderoga has received funding from the International Paper Foundation to support the preservation and installment of a portrait of First World War veteran and Fort Ticonderoga museum co-founder Stephen HP Pell.

Fort Ticonderoga has announced “A Well Regulated Militia: Citizen, Soldier, and State,” a new exhibit drawn from the museum’s collection of artifacts from across the United States and beyond.
This new exhibit explores the critical institution of the militia in early American history, from colonization through nationhood, and the unique system that developed in the United States that relied on citizens to bear the burden of national defense.
