Governor Kathy Hochul’s Championing Albany’s Potential initiative is bringing $400 million in new investment to Downtown Albany. This includes the Downtown Albany Strategy, led by Empire State Development, to create a long-term vision for the area.
As part of this work, the New York State Office of General Services (OGS) is leading the Reconnect the Empire State Plaza project.
OGS will host a public workshop exploring ideas to “reconnect the Empire State Plaza.” Organizers will be sharing ideas from a previously held workshop and seek help in prioritizing project ideas.
This event will be held on Tuesday, November 18, 2025 at the Corning Tower Observation Deck, Empire State Plaza.
Session 1 will take place at 5 pm; Session 2 begins at 6:30 pm. Both sessions will cover the same content.
Light refreshments and free parking in the V-Lot will be available.
