The New York State Office of Cultural Education has created a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Toolkit, a resource designed to support New York’s museums, libraries, archives, historical and genealogical societies, and cultural heritage sites.
This toolkit offers practical guidance and actionable strategies for promoting diversity, equity, inclusion, accessibility, and justice within these institutions.
It’s hoped the toolkit will be used for staff training, policy development, community engagement, and more.
