Archival advocates from across the country are assembling to the second “Archives on the Hill” event in Washington, DC. This day of advocacy with legislative policymakers coincides with the Society of American Archivist 2023 Annual Meeting.
The Archives on the Hill Coordinating Committee is looking for advocates to share information about archival issues and concerns related to archives, archivists, and the resources researchers need to promote change on a national level; for example, increased funding for archival programs across the country and improved statutes to ensure the essential evidence of our democracy is preserved and accessible.
