The Saratoga County History Center has announced the return of their “Fridays in the Garden” series. Programs will be held in the gardens of Brookside Museum in Ballston Spa, and are free and open to the public.
The programs will be led by Kathleen Royka, with guest speakers, Jere Blackwelder and Mina Dunnum. At each talk, questions and discussions are encouraged on any gardening issue. Guests will also have the opportunity to visit the Center’s new exhibit, “Saratoga County: Our Home!”
Scheduled “Fridays in the Garden” talks include:
- “Hear the Buzz: Launching a Pollinator Garden,” on June 9th at 2:30 pm;
- “Step into a Colonial Dooryard Garden,” on June 16th at 2:30 pm;
- “Meet the Three Sisters,” on July 28th at 2:30 pm; and
- “Are All Nightshades Deadly?,” on August 4th at 2:30 pm.
