Historic Cherry Hill in Albany will host a tour program looking at the May 7th, 1827 murder at Cherry Hill that led to two sensational trials and Albany’s last public hanging, set for Wednesday through Saturday, October 19th through 22nd and October 26th through 29th.
Visitors will meet the historical players, walk in the footsteps of a murderer- played by actor James Keil – and revel in harrowing titillation during this annual October event. The tour is recommended for patrons 12 years and up.
Tours begin at 5:30 and 7 pm each night. General admission is $20, members pay $15. Reservations are required and can be completed online.
