The Matthewis Persen House Museum will host the Friends of Historic Kingston on Saturday, September 24th, for a program on Uptown Kingston, the Stockade National Historic District, Downtown Kingston, the Rondout National Historic District, and the Fred J. Johnston House.
The program will feature a special video presentation of History of Early Dutch in Kingston by Nancy Chando, as well as information on the exhibit “Signs of the Times, The Modjeska Sign Studio, Kingston, New York.”
This program will take place from 11 am to 3 pm, and is free and open to the public. The Matthewis Persen House Museum is located at 74 John Street in uptown Kingston, at the corner of John and Crown Streets.
