The Preservation League of New York State will host Social Justice and Preservation of Place, a virtual program set for Thursday, May 19th.
This webinar will focus on the intersection of social justice and historic preservation, looking at historic sites and cultural institutions with a social justice mission whose physical sites are integral to their work.
Featured speakers include: Jeremy Dennis, Founder of Ma’s House & BIPOC Art Studio; Sarah Litvin, Executive Director of the Reher Center for Immigrant Culture and History; Margaret Oldfather, Facilities Officer at Henry Street Settlement; and Moderated by Kathryn Lloyd, Senior Director, Programs & Interpretation at the Tenement Museum.
This program will take place from noon to 1:30 pm. Registration is required and can be completed online.
