On June 1st, NFCT will host a 90-Miler prep in Saranac Lake. Attendees will meet at the Hotel Saranac Ballroom to hear from three 90-Miler racers of varying experience and skill — Roger Gocking, Brandon Devito and Kaet Wild — and share tips and tricks with fellow paddlers. The Adirondack Paddling Symposium will take place June 17th through 20th, in Saranac Lake. Also part of Celebrate Paddling ADK, the Adirondack Paddling Symposium is a comprehensive weekend of paddling instruction offering beginner and intermediate course tracks for kayaks, pack boats, SUPs and canoes. The Celebrate Paddling Invitational will be held at Riverfront Park in downtown Saranac Lake on June 26th. This family-friendly paddling event has something for everyone, including races for all ages and abilities, boat demos from local Adirondack outfitters and information from boat builders — there’s also a chance to buy or sell used boat or paddling gear. The Missisquoi Paddle-Pedal will combine 6.5 miles of paddling down a Wild and Scenic section of the Missisquoi River and 5 miles of cycling on the adjacent Missisquoi Valley Rail Trail, on July 16th. NFCT hosts this event in partnership the Upper Missisquoi & Trout River Wild & Scenic Committee, as well as the town of Richford, VT. For more information or to register, click here.

The Adirondack Canoe Classic — known as the 90-Miler — is an Adirondack tradition dating back over three decades. This years event is set for September 9th through 11th. The annual event, which takes place over three days in September, takes paddlers from Old Forge to Saranac Lake, the first 90 miles of the Northern Forest Canoe Trail. The Northern Forest Canoe Trail will close out the 2022 Adirondack race series by partnering with Long Lake Recreation and Tourism to host the Long Lake Long Boat Regatta on September 24th. For more information or to register, click here.
