Public Information Meeting About TAUNY’s New Strategic Plan

October 14, 2021 by Editorial Staff Leave a Comment

TAUNY Public Information MeetingTAUNY (Traditional Arts in Upstate New York) will host a virtual public information meeting about their new strategic plan and how individuals can be part of making that plan a reality, on Saturday, October 16th. During the event, TAUNY board members and staff will present a summary of the plan, describe different ways people can participate, welcome feedback and answer questions from the public.

TAUNY’s new strategic plan was developed by the organization’s Board of Directors with input from staff. The planning was guided by best practices to periodically review plans and update goals as well as the urgency to address challenges made clearer by the pandemic. The new plan emphasizes goals for greater diversity and inclusion in leadership and staffing as well as program delivery and audience development across the region. It also highlights expanded use of technology, improvements to The TAUNY Center, ways to strengthen TAUNY’s financial well-being, and more.

This talk will begin at 11 am and will be held via Zoom. Registration is required and can be completed online.
