Samuel Fraunces, Revolutionary Tavernkeeper Free Virtual Talk

Fraunces Tavern signThe Fraunces Tavern Museum will host “Samuel Fraunces: Revolutionary Tavernkeeper and Patriot,” a presentation by Mary Tsaltas-Ottomanelli on Monday, September 13th.

In honor of Fraunces Tavern Museum’s Tavern Week, this free digital lecture celebrates Samuel Fraunces, a revolutionary tavernkeeper, and Patriot during the Revolutionary War. Presented by Special Programs and Engagement Manager Mary Tsaltas-Ottomanelli, the lecture will explore the mysteries surrounding his early life, highlight his life in New York City and Philadelphia, and his relationship with General Washington.

This lecture will begin at 6:30 pm and will take place via Zoom. Registration is required and ends at 5:30 pm on the day of the lecture.
