Linda Fears Named Hudson Valley Mag Editor in Chief

hudson valley magazineHudson Valley and The Valley Table, part of the Today Media publishing company, has announced the appointment of Linda Fears as Editor in Chief for both publications. One of the region’s leading lifestyle publications, Hudson Valley celebrated its 49th anniversary this year. The Valley Table recently joined the Today Media lineup of publications.

Prior to her new role at Hudson Valley and The Valley Table, Fears was the Editor in Chief at Family Circle, one of the country’s largest media brands with 16+ million monthly readers. During her 12 years heading the brand, she led the magazine to win dozens of health editorial awards. Fears has served as a judge on Guy Fieri’s Food Network show, Ultimate Recipe Showdown and on Gordon Ramsay’s Hell’s Kitchen. She also spent two years on Starbuck’s Food Advisory Board and was a frequent guest on NBC’s Today Show.

In addition, Fears’ background includes Co-founder and Editorial Director at Allrecipes magazine, Group Editor of Martha Stewart Living, Rachael Ray Every Day and Eating Well, and Deputy Editor of Parents.

Fears received her bachelor’s degree and nutrition certification from Cornell University. She and her husband are longtime residents of Chappaqua, NY, where they raised their three children.
