The Time and the Valleys Museum in Grahamsville, in Sullivan County, NY, has announced “A Day in the Life of a Catskill Farm Family,” an event featuring guided tours, old time demonstrations, talks, old fashioned games and tours of the farm’s recently reconstructed historic buildings on Sunday, September 12th.
From 1 to 4 pm, visitors will be able to look back in time to dairy farming in the 1930s, and see how different life was, not so long ago. Refreshments will be available for sale, and all Museum exhibitions and gift shop will be open.
The 1930s Lost Catskill Farm includes a reconstructed early barn, outhouse, farm house, milk house, electric plant and shop with working waterwheel, all with digital interactives, games, puzzles and activities for all ages.
Admission is $5 adults and $2 children under 16 and Museum Members free. The Time and the Valleys Museum is located at 332 Main Street in Grahamsville (St. Rt. 55), Sullivan County.
