Woodstock’s Miriam Sanders Discussing New Book ‘Our Woodland Treasures’

Our Woodland Treasures - Peaceful, Startling, Rambunctious & Amazing Animal & PlantsThe Historical Society of Woodstock will host Woodstock, NY, author Miriam Sanders for a discussion on her new book Our Woodland Treasures – Peaceful, Startling, Rambunctious & Amazing Animal & Plants (Station Hill Press, 2020) on Saturday, August 28th.

Our Woodland Treasures is drawn from essays that Sanders began publishing in The Woodstock Journal in 1995, and features over twenty-five, hand-drawn illustrations from the author. For the next eight years her essays appeared in every issue and, within the newly published work, readers can once again enjoy eighty of those essays in her book.

This event is free and open to the public, and will begin at 4 pm in the Society’s Alf Evers Park. The Historical Society of Woodstock is located at 20 Comeau Drive, Woodstock. For further information visit the Historical Society of Woodstock’s website.
