The New York Genealogical and Biographical Society’s 2021 New York State Family History Conference, NYSFHC@Home 2021, will be held on Friday, September 10th, providing connection to educational resources and to like-minded community members.
21 sessions from New York experts will cover three main topic areas: New York’s People, Records and Resources, and Guides and Best Practices. Sessions will be on demand and closed-captioned, and will span from September 1st to October 18th. A full list of sessions can be found online.
NYSFHC@Home participants will be able to log in to the conference website and have the ability to create and share a profile including their research interests; share research tips and stories with others in the conference forum; browse a conference directory of other participants to connect with like-minded researchers; and create a custom schedule based on livestream sessions and other events they want to attend.
