The Hudson-Athens Lighthouse Preservation Society has announced tours of the Hudson River‘s 1874 Hudson-Athens Lighthouse will be held on August 14th, September 11th, and October 9th.Tours will examine what life was like for the lightkeeper families who lived in the eight-room Hudson-Athens Lighthouse in the middle of the Hudson River.
Tours will depart from Henry Hudson Riverfront Park in Hudson at 11 am, 12 pm, 1 pm and 2 pm, and from the Athens Village Riverfront Park at 11:30 am, 12:30 pm, 1:30 pm, and 2:30 pm. Walk-ups will be accepted, but reservations are suggested.
