The Clinton County Historical Association (CCHA) has announced they are seeking small artifacts from Land of Make Believe, Santa’s Workshop, StoryTown or Gaslight Village to be part of a new exhibit showcasing the many talents of designer Arto Monaco.
Arto was born in 1913 and passed away in 2003. He left his mark in many places and on many projects. The Clinton County Historical Museum is the owner of a diorama by Arto Monaco depicting the Battle of Plattsburgh and the Battle of Valcour. In addition to the diorama, the Museum would like to highlight Arto’s work on local amusement attractions in the area.
The Historical Association is looking for things like postcards, brochures, small figurines, glasses, etc. All items will be returned when the exhibit closes. The Museum will accept items through the month of July.
For more information or to lend an item, call the CCHA at (518) 561-0340 or email your artifact description to firstname.lastname@example.org.
