The National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame in Saratoga Springs, NY has announced guided behind-the-scenes tours of the Saratoga Race Course‘s Oklahoma Training Track are now available through September.
Tours will look at why this historic site, located across the street from the main track at Saratoga Race Course, is a favorite base for Hall of Fame trainers such as Shug McGaughey, Todd Pletcher, and Nick Zito.
This walking tour covers approximately 1½ miles and lasts for 90 minutes. Tickets are $15 for adults; $10 for students and seniors; and 50% off for museum members. Reservations are required and can be completed online.
The tours begin at 9 am and start at the Museum parking lot.
The mission of the National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame is to preserve and promote the history of thoroughbred racing in America and honor the sport’s most accomplished participants in the Official National Thoroughbred Racing Hall of Fame.
