Saranac Lake Farmers’ Market To Reopen

May 28, 2021 by Editorial Staff Leave a Comment

Saranac Lake Farmers MarketThe Saranac Lake Farmers’ Market is set to open its 2021 season on Saturday, May 29th. The market takes place at Riverside Park in downtown Saranac Lake and operates rain or shine every Saturday from 9 am to 1 pm through mid-October.

This year over 40 local small businesses will be represented, including seven new vendors that will provide locally made soaps, art, ceramics, and prepared foods. Returning vendors will bring back their art, woodworking, vegetables, fruits, meats, eggs, cheeses, wines, brews, fermentables, pasta and baked goods.

Music will once again take over the bandshell in Riverside Park. Local musician Joe Dockery will be filling the first market.

The market has free spaces available for non-profits and community organizations. There is also an “entrepreneur tent” available to new and aspiring businesses seeking to get the word out about their locally made products and expand their customer base.

For more information, contact the market volunteer organizers at avgfarmersmarkets@gmail.com.
