The Oneida County History Center will host “In and Around Remsen,” a virtual presentation outlining the first colonists of the area that became the towns of Remsen and Steuben, NY, with local journalist and author Megan Plete-Postol set for Wednesday, May 12th.
Megan Plete-Postol will share photos and stories of early Remsen and northern Oneida County, including its Welsh immigrants and a famous Revolutionary War solider.
This event is free and open to the public, and will begin at 6:30 pm. Registration is required and can be completed online. For more information contact the History Center at (315) 735-3642 or visit their website.
