USS Slater Opening for the Season

USS Slater courtesy Shanna HopsonUSS Slater, the last Destroyer Escort afloat in America, is set to open to the public for her 24th season in Albany on Wednesday April 7th, at 10 am.

Guided tours will take place every 30 minutes. While no reservations are required, visitors can call ahead a reserve a time slot. Admission is $9 for adults, $8 for seniors, $7 for children, and free for children under 5 years old.

USS Slater will be open Wednesday through Sunday, 10 am to 4 pm, through November 28th, 2021. The ship is located in Downtown Albany at the intersection of Broadway and Quay Street.
