Reservations are now open for the 2021 Hudson Valley Restaurant Week, which is set for May 10th through 23rd. From new eateries to familiar favorites, more than 100 restaurants are participating in this annual celebration of the local culinary scene.
Chefs throughout the Hudson Valley will be celebrating the return to restaurant dining with dishes highlighting the bounty of ingredients that comes each spring. Throughout the two-week event, restaurants will be offering three-course, prix-fixe lunches at $25.95 and dinners at $35.95.
Past participating restaurants served an estimated quarter of a million patrons and reported an average 25% increase in business, collectively generating an estimated economic impact of $10.2 million in sales revenue. Participating restaurants span seven counties in the Hudson Valley (Westchester, Rockland, Putnam, Ulster, Orange, Sullivan and Dutchess counties) and offer a wide variety of cuisines.
New restaurants participating in 2021 include The Chianti Cow Restaurant, Bellacosa Wine & Tapas Bar, and Millstream Tavern. Among the returning favorites are Dino’s Vigneto Café, Chutney Masala Indian Bistro, and The Grille at Nyack. A full list of participating restaurants is available online.
The event will kick-off next Monday, April 26, with a celebratory party featuring tastings provided by 25 local purveyors. Chefs, restaurateurs and guests will be able to try samples of cheeses, meats, wines, spirits and other locally grown favorites with restaurants having the option to feature these ingredients and products on their restaurant week menus. Attendees will also be entered to win a $1,000 Le Creuset Prize Package, donated by Le Creuset. Socially distant practices and mask requirements will be in effect.
Hudson Valley Restaurant Week Kick-off Party will take place Monday, April 26, 2021 from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm at City Winery, 23 Factory Street, Montgomery, NY.
