Champlain Area Trails Hosting “Hike with Emily” Events

March 12, 2021 by Editorial Staff Leave a Comment

Emily SegadaChamplain Area Trails (CATS) has been begun hosting a series of hikes with Operations & Communications Manager, Emily Segada, with a goal of exploring every single CATS trail.

Since January, Emily Segada has been knocking off trails one by one with CATS supporters. So far, they’ve done Flying Squirrel, Black Kettle, and the Art Farm Trail. Hikes are the second Saturday and last Friday of every month, with the locations updated on the CATS website.

Segada started with CATS as Operations & Communications Manager back in October. She is an avid hiker and loves getting outside. She plans to use the hikes for people to also meet special guests including CATS founders, board members, and other people in our communities.

Upcoming Hike with Emily events are set for March 13th at 10 am, March 26th at 2 pm, April 10th at 10 am, April 30th at 2 pm, May 8th at 10 am, May 28th at 2 pm, June 5th at 10 am, and June 25th at 2 pm.

For more information on upcoming hikes and to register for the hikes, visit the CATS website or email emily@champlainareatails.com.
