The New York Central System Historical Society (NYCSHS) has announced the creation of a second-generation archive system as a resource for railroad historians and model railroaders of the New York Central System. With more than 58,000 images, the archive is the largest offering from the Society to date.
The non-profit NYCSHS was established in March 1970 with a vision of becoming the preferred source of information and products relating to the New York Central System. Today, the Society perpetuates the legacy of the New York Central System by acquiring and preserving its history, traditions, documents and artifacts, as well as by disseminating accurate information and products consistent with good stewardship.
The new archive is available at www.nycshs.omeka.net.
