The East Hampton Historical Society has announced their schedule of events for the upcoming holiday season. This year, instead of cocktails at Maidstone Club and the annual House & Garden Tour, the Historical Society will offer Holiday experiences at Mulford Farm and Moran Studio.
On Saturday, November 28th, from 4 to 8 pm, the Society will host Aglow: A Holiday Experience at Mulford Farm, located at 10 James Lane, in East Hampton.
For one night only, Mulford Farm will be decorated for the holidays wonderland from the days of yore. Attendees will be able to take a self-guided tour of historic Mulford Farm, carol at the Hedges-Edwards barn, meet Santa Claus on his sleigh, take a selfie with friends and family at the “Winter Wonderland” and bring home take-away children’s crafts. Hot cider and Hamptons Aristocrat cookies will be included. Pre-registration is required. Tickets are $10 per adult, $5 for children under 16, and can be purchased online.
The Historical Society is set to host Victorian Christmas at the Thomas & Mary Nimmo Moran Studio (circa 1884), on Sunday, November 29 from 11 am to pm, and Fridays & Saturdays, December 4th through 19th from 11 am to 5 pm. The studio will be decorated for Christmas, featuring a holiday tree illuminated in lights and adorned with hundreds vintage glass ornaments. The day will feature a 19th Century Christmas celebration, featuring festive décor, period clothing, antique postcards, beautiful silver, and period toys. The Moran Studio is located at 229 Main Street, East Hampton Village.
Pre-registration is required. Tickets are $5 per person, visitors will be limited to 8 people per half hour. Tickets can be purchased online.
