The Whallonsburg Grange Hall is set to continue their Fall Lyceum Series on Monday, October 19th, with a virtual lecture with Elizabeth Lee, local educator and Grange board member, and SUNY Plattsburgh professor Danielle Garneau, who will present the latest research on the impact of microplastics released into Lake Champlain by water treatment plants in Vermont and New York.
This lecture will be presented via Zoom, and is free and open to the public. Registration is required, and can be completed on the Grange website.
The Lyceum Series continues with Uneasy Inquisition: The John Brown Statue in North Elba on October 27th, Intro to Agroforestry, Theory and Practice on November 10th, and Update on Climate Change in the Adirondacks on November 17th.
