The Clermont State Historic Site is set to continue it’s series of talks and performances on the back porch on Saturday, September 19th.
Artist and School Program Coordinator Emily Robinson will give a presentation about her popular History Comics Club programing.
This program begins at 2 pm, and is free and open to the public. Reservations are required.
Sunday, September 20th will feature Clermont staff will present Clermont 101, a basic history of the house and family and a chance to ask all your burning questions about the Livingstons, at 11 am and 1 pm.
On Saturday September 26 at 2:00 pm Site Manager Susan Boudreau will present Clermont Had a Little Lamb…and Another…and Another. She will discuss the introduction of the Merino Sheep to Clermont and Chancellor Robert Livingston’s work to promote the breed and the science of sheep raising.
On Sunday September 27 at 2 pm All My Boyfriends are Dead will try to answer the question of was Janet Livingston Montgomery’s love life cursed?
