The Time and the Valleys Museum has announced Catskill Stream Geology Sunday, an online virtual program set for October 4th.
Beginning at 2 pm, Haley Springston, Watershed Planning Coordinator of the Rondout-Neversink Stream Program, will take participants on a virtual geology hike along a Catskill stream. Springston will talk about how Catskill streams formed nearly 380 million years ago, and how to identify rock structures and rock types in present-day Catskill streams.
