adk harvest festAdirondack Harvest, a program of Cornell Cooperative Extension of Essex County, has announced this year’s Free Range Adirondack Harvest Festival is set for September 19th.

The day will begin with a Champlain Area Trails hike on the Viall’s Crossing Trail ending with lunch by Papa Duke’s BBQ and beverages at Ledge Hill Brewery. The Ledge Hill Brewery in Westport will feature dinner with DaCy Meadow Farm. Ausable Brewing Company in Keeseville will offer drink specials and food from Northern Feast Catering.

The day will end at the Whallonsburg Grange which will feature a free screening of “Inhabit,” a feature length documentary introducing permaculture: a design method that offers an ecological lens for solving issues related to agriculture, economics, governance, and more.

Virtual activities feature virtual tours, member photo galleries, games, demos, and 4-H videos as well as details on how to participate in the Scavenger Hunt and win prizes up to $200.
