Sagamore Hill Increases Access to Park Grounds

sagamore hill signSagamore Hill National Historic Site has increased recreational access, including the opening of the beach and outdoor programming. Park rangers remain on duty and normal regulations apply.

The Historic Site has reopened access to outdoor public restrooms at 50% capacity from the hours of 9 am to 5 pm daily, the beach and Eel Creek bridge, and intermittent outdoor programming. Park grounds, walking paths and trails and parking areas are open as well.

All buildings, including the Roosevelt Home and Old Orchard Museum remain closed and public tours and events remain suspended.

Sagamore Hill has posted virtual tours and other media such as photo galleries and films on their website.

Sagamore Hill is located at 20 Sagamore Hill Road, Oyster Bay. Details and updates on park operations will continue to be posted online.
