The Wilderstein Historic Site, on the Hudson River in Rhinebeck, Dutchess County, NY, has announced they will offer guided outdoor tours on Saturdays and Sundays starting August 15th.
This outdoor-only tour includes the landscape, exterior of the mansion, and a brief discussion about the mansion interior and family history.
Tours will be held at 1 pm, 2 pm, and 3 pm. Tickets are $10 per person, advance reservations are required.
The Wilderstein estate, located at 330 Morton Road, Rhinebeck, was the home of Margaret (Daisy) Suckley, a distant cousin and confidante of Franklin Roosevelt.
