Annual Plein Air ‘Paint Out’ Goes Anywhere, Online

Diane Davis (left) and Donna Stoner (right) show off their Plein Air skills in ForestportView’s 11th Annual Plein Air Paint Out is set to be held virtually, from Saturday, August 29th through September 10th.

Over 40 artists are set to donate a painting for the benefit auction, as well as providing one or two paintings for the consignment sale.

Paintings can be viewed any time online until Thursday, September 10th, 2020. Paintings will also be available for in-person preview at View in Old Forge, NY, starting Saturday, September 5th, from 10 am to 2 pm. Bidding begins online at 5 pm on September 5th, and closes at 5 pm on September 10th. Paintings can be picked up at View or shipped. The auction will take place virtually over five days, where bidding can take place from any location.

Paint Out Committee member, Linda Weal is set to host a live video program on Saturday, September 5th, from 4 to 5 pm. Weal will introduce some of the paintings up for auction and share more information about the artists. A painting by artist and teacher Frank Webb will featured, created, donated and included in the live auction.

View is located at 3273 State Route 28 in Old Forge, NY, in the Southwestern Adirondacks.
