Humanities New York’s (HNY) has announced the Amended podcast, a six-part series about the ongoing struggle for women’s voting rights.
Launching on August 26, 2020, Amended travels from the 1800s through to the present day to explore the quest for women’s full equality, one that has been as diverse, complex and unfinished as the nation itself.
You can listen to the trailer, featuring host Dr. Laura Free, an HNY board member and historian of women and politics.
Subscribe to Amended wherever you get your podcasts, whether iTunes, Spotify, Sticher, iHeartRadio, Pocket Casts or another platform.
To be the first to know as new episodes are released, sign up for the Amended newsletter. The producers intend to share reading lists, discussion questions for hosting a conversation, and bonus episodes from other podcasts that expand upon the themes of Amended.
