Wilderstein Historic Site in Rhinebeck, Dutchess County, has announced a new joint online exhibition with Locust Grove in Poughkeepsie, featuring a selection of Victorian household objects from both collections.
You can explore the objects on their website.
Wilderstein Historic Site is a not-for-profit house museum that was the home of Margaret (Daisy) Suckley, a distant cousin and confidante of Franklin Roosevelt. Wilderstein, with its exquisite Queen Anne mansion and Calvert Vaux designed landscape, is widely regarded as an important example of Victorian architecture in the Hudson Valley.
