Re-opening NYS Museums Virtual Meet-Up Set

many virtual meetupMany regions in New York State have entered Phase 4 of Governor Cuomo’s Reopen NY and museums are following the mandated and recommended best practices to re-open safely for visitors and staff.

The Museum Association of New York is set to host their July virtual meet-up on Friday, July 17 at noon, where they will break down these reopening guidelines for museums, and speak with museum colleagues from across the state who have re-opened their doors to the public to learn more about their strategies, policies, and procedures.

Panelists include:

Brian Lee Whisenhunt, Executive Director, The Rockwell Museum

Ken Meifert, VP Sponsorship and Development, National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum

Mary Zawacki, Executive Director, Schenectady County Historical Society

Tabitha Jacques, Director, Dyer Arts Center, National Technical Institute for the Deaf

Mary Liz Stewart, Co-Founder, Underground Railroad History Project, Myers Residence

The public is encouraged to submit re-opening questions when they register.
