Fort Ticonderoga has invited the public to a Sound of 1776 Living History Event, set for Saturday, August 1st.
The event will feature living history vignettes, musical performances, a reading of the Declaration of Independence, and other sights and sounds of the American Army at Ticonderoga.
This year, until otherwise announced, Fort Ticonderoga will be open Tuesday-Sunday from 9:30am to 5 pm, with general admission capacity limited to 400 visitors per day. Pre-registration is encouraged. Tickets can also be purchased the day of with a credit card.
