Family Tour of Congress Park Set For Wednesday

congress park family tourThe Saratoga Springs Preservation Foundation, in partnership with the Children’s Museum at Saratoga, have announced a family friendly tour of Congress Park, set for Wednesday, July 15th at 10 am.

This 45-minute walking tour will highlights the history and architecture of Congress Park while providing families with a unique, socially distanced outdoor activity. Attendees will learn the history of the springs, Canfield Casino, Spirit of Life & Spencer Trask Memorial, and the carousel. Tour meets at the Congress Spring under the pavilion.

Due to current restrictions in New York State, this tour will be limited to approximately 20 attendees, which is less than the maximum of 50 that is currently allowed, and tickets must be purchased in advance. Everyone will be required to wear a mask and social distancing will be encouraged when possible. The cost per tour is $10 for adults and $5 for children.
