The Adirondack Park Agency (APA) is set to hold a teleconference public hearing for zoning changes in the Town of Lake Luzerne, Warren County, on Monday, May 18, 2020.
The changes are planned near Lake Vanare and Lake Forest, including along State Route 9 and and Hidden Valley Road.
The Town of Lake Luzerne has requested a map amendment to the Adirondack Park Land Use and Development Plan Map. Map Amendment 2019-01 is a request to reclassify approximately 105 acres of private land from Rural Use to Moderate Intensity Use. The proposed re-classification area is located approximately five miles northeast of the Hamlet of Lake Luzerne in the vicinity of Lake Vanare and Lake Forest. The proposed area includes approximately 1,300 feet of road frontage on New York State Route 9 and 2,300 feet of frontage on Hidden Valley Road.
