The Clinton County Historical Association has announced The Frank Pardy Story with Alexandra Thomas, set for Thursday January 16, at 6:30 pm, at the Lake Forest Senior Community Center in Plattsburgh.
Rouses Point photographer and businessman Frank Pardy (1865-1935) left an extensive collection of glass plate negatives with the Clinton County Historical Association.
Alexandra Thomas, a SUNY Plattsburgh History graduate with a minor in photography, scanned and identified over 400 of his photos and researched his history with the town. His love of cars, boats, people, children and local flora is evident. Alexandra has chosen her favorite photos to share along with what she learned of his life.
This event will begin at 6:30 pm, and is free and open to the public.
The Lake Forest Senior Community Center is located at 8 Lake Forest Drive, in Plattsburgh.
