Winter Break for Families at Boscobel

boscobel winter breakThis winter break, Boscobel House and Gardens is set to offer activities for parents and their children while they are off school. Winter Break takes place on Thursday, December 26 and Friday, December 27.

On each day at 9:30 am and then again at 1 pm, Museum Educator Lisa DiMarzo will give families a fun flashlight tour of the mansion. Kids of all ages can enjoy hunting for gingerbread kids throughout the Historic House Museum, then join in a craft activity geared toward the season.

On Thursday, December 26, the theme is ” Candle Dipping.” On Friday, December 27, the theme is “Pomander Ball Creations.”

Program participants are also encouraged to play on the grounds overlooking Boscobel’s stunning view of the Hudson River Valley.

Admission is $8 for members, $12 for non members. Advance reservations are recommended.

Boscobel is located at 1601 Route 9D, Garrison. More information is available on their website, or by calling (845) 265-3638.
