Longtime political reporter of the Buffalo News, Bob McCarthy is set to discuss a variety of political and related topics on Wednesday, October 23rd, from 6 to 7:30 pm, at the Buffalo History Museum.
McCarthy will be joined by Budd Bailey, a longtime colleague of his from their work together in The Buffalo News.
Topics discussed will include November’s elections, the upcoming Presidential campaign, political figures past and present, McCarthy’s life and career, and the changing nature of journalism in the age of social media. Following the conversation, questions will be welcomed from the audience.
Bob McCarthy is a native of Schenectady and graduated from St. Bonaventure University. He joined the Buffalo News 1982 and has been a political reporter for the paper since 1992.
Admission is free for museum members, $10 for adults, and $5 for seniors and students age 13-21.
