Nieuw Amsterdam Soirée at Jay Heritage Center in Rye

October 17, 2019 by Editorial Staff Leave a Comment

new amsterdam soireeJay Heritage Center on the Old Boston Post Road in Rye, NY, will host a Nieuw Amsterdam Soirée fundraiser this Saturday, October 17.

The evening will celebrate New York’s rich Dutch history with authentic Dutch tastes and treats. There will be dinner and dancing at the Jay Mansion with live music from Hank Lane’s band Octane and food catered by Scarborough Fair. One lucky guest will go home with a Dutch Van Moof bike.

The Jay Heritage Center is a not-for-profit organization chartered by the New York State Board of Regents to act as stewards of the Jay Estate, the National Historic Landmark home of American Founding Father John Jay.  The organization is privately funded, making the generosity of their supporters critically important to their operations and programs.

Jay Heritage provides educational programs in American history and environmental conservation for the public and the thousands of middle school students in the Westchester County, NY and Fairfield County, CT areas.

Tickets include cocktails, dinner and dancing at the Jay Mansion from 7 to 11pm and start at $275. Tickets are on sale now online here: https://conta.cc/31lcgz1

The attire is “festive cocktail” – anything you can dance in! From pants to dresses to blazers paired with jeans are suggested.

Additional lead sponsors include Heineken, Lucas Bols USA, Van Moof Bikes, Beemster Cheese and Voorn Croquettes.

The organizing committee for this event includes Tracy and Luke Edwards, Inga and Ben Mao, Emily Kindler Tisdale and Bobby Tisdale, Christy and George Schultze, Joan and Will Steere, and Marie-Anne and Joris van Roijen.

For more information contact Kevin Peraino at peraino.jhc@gmail.com or (914) 698-9275. Sponsorship opportunities still available.
